There are quite a few resources out there that can help jump start exporting for your business.  &amp;nbsp;  The Small Business Administration (SBA) offers lots of great resources for helping get started. One is the <a title=\"SBA Export Business Planner\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sba.gov\/exportbusinessplanner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Export Business Planner<\/a>.  <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/n9hz1g65N_s\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/n9hz1g65N_s<\/a>  This downloadable tool allows you to save and customize your work as you progress through the tool. The tool includes:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to determine your export readiness<\/li>\n<li>Training and counseling information<\/li>\n<li>Worksheets for global market research<\/li>\n<li>Financing information and options<\/li>\n<li>Customizable export business plan and marketing plan templates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <!--more-->  Another great resource offered by the SBA is a two-part blog series on exporting that helps guide small business owners through the initial question of whether or not to export and how to go about it. <a title=\"A Small Business Guide to Exporting: Part 1 - Getting Started\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sba.gov\/community\/blogs\/community-blogs\/small-business-matters\/small-business-guide-exporting-part-1-getting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Part 1<\/a>\u00a0addresses exporting basics that need to be considered. Things such as trade agreements, finding business opportunities, export controls and licenses, and how to export technology. <a title=\"A Small Business Guide to Exporting: Part 2 - Getting Financing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sba.gov\/community\/blogs\/community-blogs\/small-business-matters\/small-business-guide-exporting-part-2-getting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Part 2<\/a>\u00a0goes more in-depth on finding financing for exporting. There are several programs offered by the U.S. government to assist in exporting and details of each is given.  If you\u2019re more of a hands-on learner, the SBA also offers a\u00a0free\u00a0online course designed to introduce small business owners to the subject of exporting. The 30-minute course, titled\u00a0<a title=\"Take Your Business Global - An Introduction to Exporting\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sba.gov\/tools\/sba-learning-center\/training\/take-your-business-global-introduction-exporting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cTake Your Business Global \u2013 An Introduction to Exporting<\/a>\u201d is intended to be a guide to small businesses to determine if exporting makes sense and whether the basic ingredients for export readiness are in place.  If you prefer talking with someone face-to-face, you can do that by finding your local <a title=\"U.S. Export Assistance Centers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sba.gov\/content\/us-exports-assistance-centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. Export Assistance Center<\/a>. The Export Assistance Center\u2019s offer a variety of services such as trade counseling, business matchmaking, and market intelligence. They also conduct seminars and workshops on specific exporting topics and issues.
