If a prospective business owner is serious about taking a risk and making the leap into an entrepreneurial endeavor, he or she should take time and focus on producing a solid, well-written, and well thought-out business plan.  What should be in the business plan? Here\u2019s what <em>Forbes Magazine<\/em> suggests:<!--more-->  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mission statement and\/or vision statement so you can articulate what you\u2019re trying to create.<\/li>\n<li>Description of your company and your product or service.<\/li>\n<li>Description of how your product\/service is different from what currently exists in the marketplace.<\/li>\n<li>Market analysis that discusses the market you\u2019re trying to enter, competitors, where you fit, and what type of market share you believe you can secure.<\/li>\n<li>Description of your management team.<\/li>\n<li>How you plan to market your product\/service.<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of your company\u2019s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.<\/li>\n<li>A cash flow statement.<\/li>\n<li>Revenue projections.<\/li>\n<li>A summary that wraps all of these pieces together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  Business plans can vary from industry to industry, but these are all important elements that should be included in any business plan.
